da brwin: Leeds struggled going forward against Brentford on Wednesday evening, creating just eight opportunities as the Whites came away with a 1-0 win.
It took until the 81st minute for Marcelo Bielsa’s men to get the ball in the back of the net as Helder Costa crossed for Eddie Nketiah to fire home from close range.
However, there was a particularly concerning display from Pablo Hernandez, who created just one opportunity and was mercilessly ripped into by supporters on Twitter.
One fan said that the 34-year-old was beginning to look his age whilst he was also branded as woeful by another individual.
The criticism didn’t stop there for the winger whose display was labelled as shocking. The lack of service he provided was also picked up on.
Hernandez was particularly poor with his passing, finishing the game with a success rate of just 75%. He meanwhile finished the game having managed just one dribble.
The Spaniard’s display was out of character, especially after scoring twice in his first two games of the term.
Last campaign he netted 12 goals and claimed the same number of assists.
Here’s the best of the reaction.
